How late would you take the train to Paris?

We are staying in Paris, going to DLP for one day. The park closes at 11 and we would like to stay and watch Dreams, so we won't be out of there until 12. Then we have to take the train back to Paris.

Would you feel safe going back to Paris this late? Our hotel is a 5 min walk from arc de triomphe and from what I can see, we can take a train that goes there from DLP.

I know when we've left DLP in the summer after the fireworks (so around midnight) there have been hoards of people heading to the trains so hopefully lots of these are day visitors from Paris itself and not just people getting off two or three stops down the line.

Yeah that's what I was hoping for. Lots of people going back to Paris. I'm normally not scared of dodgy places. I have walked around Cairo at night by myself. But I have heard a lot about the areas on the route to DLP, so I just want to make sure that it's safe.

You'll be ok on that side of Paris as there will be a lot of people going back down to the city with you.

Where you don't want to be going out of the main hours is on the D going up to Sarcelles and beyond nor up on line B towards the airport.

Which stations/areas have you heard things about ?

I wouldn't go wandering about at Noisiel at night but that's about it

I can't remember which area, but I remember thinking that is was on the way to DLP. It's a long time ago, so I guess I don't have anything to fear. Like you say, others will go back to Paris with us :-)

It would be nice to stay long enough to watch Dreams.
