How late does the bus run?

We plan on going to the Animal Kingdom in August, their hours are 8-5 - early am.

We have reservations at Rainforest for 5:15, the meal will probably take 1-1 1/2 hours.

Will the bus still be running?

They will provide transportation until every single guest is cleared from the park and RFC.

Keep an eye on park hours. By that time, Rivers of Light and Nighttime Safari almost certainly will be open, so the park hours will probably be extended until at least 8. After park hours are updated, and we get a feel for scheduling of ROL, you may want to adjust your reservation so that you can see those new attractions.

Which do you think is better to eat at Yak & Yeti (in the park) or Rainforest (at the entrance) to get to see these shows?

There are 3 - female adults , 1- 9 yr old girl, none have gone to either.

I would think the Rainforest would take longer to eat.

Personally, I wouldn't eat dinner at either one - I'd get dinner at Flame Tree BBQ.

But if you really want one of those, this is what I would recommend: Join the Landry's Select Club. Both of those restaurants are Landry's restaurants, so you can use your card to get priority seating without an ADR. In fact, you actually get priority over people who do have ADRs. If you do this, you don't have to worry about trying to figure out an ADR time in advance, you just show up when you're ready. Club membership is $25, but you get a $25 credit to use on your first visit.

Sorry, I haven't been to either -- and we don't yet know how ROL will be scheduled, if there will be dining packages, FP+, etc. For the restaurants, try asking on the dining board. For ROL & Nighttime Safari, you'll have to wait until more info is released.

In any case, you can be assured that bus transportation to the resorts will be available until both AK & RFC are completely empty.

Thank you for the suggestion. We are on the Dining Plan. I was planning on Flame Tree BBQ for lunch.
