How late do Bakeries stay open?

I would like to get our breakfast for the next day, on the way out of the parks. Are the Bakeries (Starring rolls, MS bakery) still open after the nighttime shows?

Will there be any bkfast food left?

Would like to use my snack credits for Bkfast!

I picked up two cinnamon rolls from the Main Street bakery in MK on the way out at 10:30 p.m. in August. There were lots of pastries/croissants left but they weren't making any breakfast foods (like an egg and cheese croissant).

I was asking a similar thing on another thread and nobody seemed to know.
Do they still have sandwiches left after 4pm at main st bakery?

I've heard starring rolls runs out early...does Main St. also?

They had premade sandwiches and salads that I recall (although I don't know about breakfast sandwiches) at Main St. I'm pretty sure Boardwalk bakery closes at 11 p.m. so that could always be a plan B when leaving DHS (it is quite a walk/boat ride out of the way but it's an option if they're out of things). Oh, I just read that hours vary by season at the Boardwalk Bakery.

It looks like on AllEars that they don't serve breakfast sandwiches at Starring Rolls. I imagine the pastries and criossants would be there until the park closed (I used to work at a bakery and anything left over, besides bagels, we would wrap up for the next day so we baked right up until we closed).

Yes, Main Street Bakery is open until park closing...well, actually, it's one of the places that is open after park closing some nights, along with the shops along Main Street. We stayed on Labor Day evening for Wishes...park officially closed at 10:00 P.M. Since it was so crowded with the masses leaving the park, we stopped at Main Street Bakery on the way out & had a snack. The place was packed - every table full, and long line at the bakery counter. This would have been at about 10:45, so about 45 minutes after the park officially "closed". Main Street was still quite crowded with people leaving (was over the initial crush at the end of the fireworks, but still a lot of people exiting the park.) Although there was still quite a few choices in the pastry counter, I did get the last cinnamon roll in the pan...and I heard the guy tell the people in line behind us that was all for the cinnamon rolls. there was a lot of muffins, turnovers, cookies & the cheesecake offerings were all there still. There were no sandwiches available that I could see.

Starring Rolls carries pastries for breakfast (also has some fresh fruit) but no breakfast sandwiches. They do have a limited supply of lunch sandwiches (all prepared in advance...good sandwiches but no special orders...you choose from the 3 kinds they have & that's it. Once the lunch sandwich supply is gone, it's gone for the day. Often are out of sandwiches by 1:30 or 2:00 p.m.) Starring Rolls does not usually stay open in the evening - have never actually seen it open in the evening at all. What I've been told by the counter help in there is that once the day's pastries are gone, they close. (they do not actually bake there ) Anyway, was told that they typically close by 4:00 or 5:00.

In Epcot, the Kringla Bakeri in Norway stays open in the evening...we've been in there on evening EMH at least an hour after Illuminations. They still had a good supply of pastries.

Wow! Good to know. I've never been to Starring Rolls. I'm thinking now it's because we always get to DHS in the evening and never spend any day time there. Interesting.

When we walked by Main St. Bakery at 1:30 a.m. (MK had EMH until 2 a.m.) in August it was still open and there were a few people inside.

Thank you so much for your replies

Now I know that we can stop and get bkfast for the next day. That will help alot with my planning!

Does anyone know if the pastry store in France is open after Illumanations?

It is not if it's not an EMH night. The stores and restaurants are closing their doors right at the end of/during Illuminations (some of them let people linger a little bit longer but for the most part they're closing up shop). Last November the France bakery was open at 11:30 p.m. when it was an EMH night (and the park closed at 12:30). Our trip in August I stopped at the France bakery about an hour before Illuminations and picked a box of goodies to enjoy during Illuminations and the next day for breakfast (I also went to Norway's bakery to pick up some sweet pretzels :rolleyes1).
