How late can you currently debark, particularly when using DCL transport?

The airline changed our flight time to 2.5 hours later than we booked, and I'm trying to decide if we want to get a day room.

They want you off the ship by 9:00am. You might be able to dawdle and get off closer to about 9:30, but not much later than that.

Especially if reduced passenger capacity still is happening when you cruise, I would expect they would not only want you off by 9 am, but be able to get you off the ship by then. Our cruise was a New Years Cruise with a very full ship, and despite a steady stream of passengers leaving, it took until 10 am for them to physically get everyone off the ship and through customs.

On our recent B2B on the dream, we had to meet in the pub at around 9:00 to be escorted off the ship and get ready for the next cruise. We could not leave until all the regular passengers were off the ship. They started calling out individual families by name and cabin number and telling them to leave the ship.

They knew who was still on the ship and worked very hard to get them to leave.

We just got off the 9/17 Dream cruise this morning.

For whatever reason, I either wasn't hearing the luggage tag calls in Animator's Palate. Eventually figured it out that all was clear to debark and we left dining room at about 9:15, at which point they announced over the PA that all guests needed to debark now (they were polite about it).

On the 8/23 Dream cruise we left the ship at 9:30 am and there were still some people hanging out in the atrium. One CM was beginning to try to slowly ask people to leave but they certainly hadn't gotten as agressive about wanting people off of the ship as I have seen on other cruises. This was the only time we have walked right up to waiting immigration officers, with no line.

DCL will hold that last bus until the last guest with transfers booked has debarked. Keep in mind that by hanging out onboard you are keeping a bus -- and other passengers -- waiting on you. If you don't leave the ship until 9:30, some may have been sitting on the bus for quite some time.

Thank you. We would never do that. Our intent was not to try and push the limits & see how long we could stay on before being forced off, just wanted to know how late the normal debarkation window is.

Does anyone know what time Cabana's closes on the last day? Thanks!
