How late are the pools open?

You might get more responses if this wasn't under the Restaurant thread.

If I remember correctly, the pools at the CSR are open until 10:00 p.m. (although the quiet pools might have been 11:00 p.m.--not positive)

Usually guests can swim at any WDW Resort they are staying at as late as they want, however since there would be no lifeguards on duty they have a sign where they would sit that says you are swimming at your own risk, incase anything bad were to happen.

we stayed at wl last year and went swimming up to at least 11 pm if not later (lifeguard was not on duty). there were other kids in the pool with us as well and the hot tubs were busy! this was in jan too. as long as you aren't making any loud noise and you swim at your own risk, i think you can go when you want to.

I believe for the CSR, Grand and AKL the pools are open from 8 AM to midnight. However the slides and life guards secure at 8 PM.

By the way during the COLD wave that hit WDW 02-04 Jan 08 the ducks were spending the night in the Grand's heated pools! First time I have ever seen ducks in a swimming pool!

Last month when I stayed at the Polynesian and would be returning around a late time, I always saw ducks swimming in the Volcano pool.

I have seen ducks in the Quiet Pool in the Casitas Section at the CSR.

there were definitely ducks in the wl pool too. it made us laugh. poor things though were being chased by some kids...
