How late are stores open in Cozumel?

Does anyone know how late the stores in Cozumel stay open in October? We have an all day shore excursion and probably won't get back to the ship until around 5:30. That gives us just enough time to get ready for dinner. I would like to go back out shopping after dinner, but I'm not sure if anything will be open that late (around 7:30-8:00).

I would really hate to miss dinner that night, but my DD's collect charms for their braclets from each vacation/port we do.

Does anyone know of a shop by the port that sells sterling silver charms that I could run into and get the charms if we have the time?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I know absolutely nothing about Cozumel except that according to DD and the Navigators on www.dcltribute.com the Magic usually has all aboard at 10:30 pm in Cozumel. Knowing that, I can't believe that a port that so depends on tourists would close up the shops before they leave!

Either some other posters can answer you questions or check with Clyde the shopping specialist when you're on board and pick up the Shopping in Paradise info on Cozumel.
