My DH and I got prepark opening reservations for BOG next month. We basically want it to get into the park early and get something small and quick to eat as we have lunch reservations. We have AP's and will not be on the dining plan.

I was checking out the menu and some of the kids offerings seem nice and I was just wondering how large they are if we wanted to split something with coffee and maybe a cupcake. Like I said, we have early lunch buffet reservations so we are just looking for something to tide us over. Don't want to eat too much so we are hungry for our lunch.

Thanks,
Linda

Its about suitable for a kid. I think there was eggs and a mickey waffle on her plate.

can I ask you which menu item your child had? I don't see waffles on the breakfast menu. was planning to maybe just feed the kids in the room as I did not see anything they would like
thanks

BOG is the last remaining res that I am trying to dig out....60 days of checking and searching...it is killing me :D

i believe it was the one with the eggs - and when we got there we asked if they had a mickey waffle as my daughter is incredibly picky. we ate so much that trip though, so pardon if my memory is not correct.

Thanks, looking at the kids menu I do not see waffles. I also do not see French Toast on the adults menu and that is what I would love to try. The Crepes on the kids menu also sound good. Cant believe neither of these is on the adult menu. We do have lunch booked there later in the week and the lunch items for the adults sound great. Can't wait.

my husband ironically ordered from the kids menu (another picky one) and asked for an 'adult' portion because he liked the kids offering better than the adults. each to their own i suppose. lol.

The child's portion of eggs was pretty small, but it came with a few pieces of bacon and some fruit. Every table does get a pastry tray as well, so that might help!

How does BOG breakfast charge? Since it is fixed price, is it: if you are an adult in the restaurant, you are charged $19.99? Or are you charged as an adult $11.99 if you order kids meals. Also, what about sharing or someone not wanting to eat. I have an ADR too. It sounds fun but the menu doesnt look great and 3 of us are 'adults' .

The child French Toast portion is unbelievably small. Like, less than one full piece of bread involved small.

Since it is fixed price
It is not fixed price. You are charged solely for what you order. You can order a single Mickey Straw for your party of 10 and be charged only for said Mickey straw.

Thanks for the info! We will try not to just order a Mickey straw :) the adult menu just does not look very good to me. I wish they would add an adult plate of french toast or yogurt parfait or something... The cronut DOES look good but i try not to eat all sugar and no protein.

Ok i looked at the photos. If kids and I share a few orders of kids scrambled eggs/ bacon with the cronuts, we should be good to go with our protein and sweets too :) None of us eats that much in a sitting. Oldest Ds18 will love that baguette, brie and meat actually. Yea :flower1:

Looking at the menu, that does not seem strange at all. I don't know why they do not have an adult french toast, etc..?

From the pictures a kid's meal is not really splittable between two adults, even for a light meal. There are lots of reports of them not even satisfying kids. a kid meal each would probably do the trick though.
