How "just one trip" became three (babies)... update 6/29, huge triplets photo update

oh my god - those illuminations pictures are amazing (as are all your pictures)..

good you physically removed that woman so she didn't get in the way of your pictures...
don't you just HATE people like that? and it happens to us EVERY time we get a good spot....at the last moment some obnoxious family comes up and tries to push in front of us...
that's why i don't even bother with illuminations anymore...i can't deal with those people....

too bad i didn't know about the dis party....i would have given a heads up to DD about it....oh well.....(she used to hang out on the dis a few years ago)...

This is pretty fun - and it's good to see both of you again, if only through the pictures. You both are looking good! I know that you will adapt to the Sony really well, and it helps that you don't have the old age handicap that some of us have :rolleyes1 . The pics so far look really good, and comparing between the ones with the Olympus, looks like you made a good choice. But in the end, it's the photographer that makes the difference, and you will do well, as you have in the past. The pic that stands out for me (OK, there were several :) ) was the one from Japan by the lake (don't know what that thingy is called - haven't made it to Japan at Epcot yet). The composition is a little different than others that I have seen and I like it very much. Like the lighting also. Looking forward to more. Have a Mickey ice cream bar for me, will ya?

Wow, great pictures.
I can't believe how quickly the halloween stuff goes up!

Cody and Lease....
Just starting reading trip reports and Loved reading yours and the pictures were awesome.
My DH loves to take pictures on vacation and loves all the camera equipment but I must say Cody you are blessed to have such an understanding wife, I am not as tolerant when it comes to the cost of his addiction so he has a limited collection. (I usually share these TR's with him but this is one that I am only letting him look at the pictures and not let hm read about the camera equipment):rolleyes1
Can't wait to read more.

Hi
I have been admiring your pictures on the POTD thread (yours too, Lease, as he often gives you credit :thumbsup2 ) I thought it would be fun to read a live trip report and now when you post your pictures on the POTD I will feel special becasue I have already seen them! :lmao:

I'm sure you are having a great trip. Looking forward to more report and pictures!

Thanks for all the compliments!

travelmel.. hidden Mickey?

Have a Mickey ice cream bar for me, will ya?

Can do!

Wow, great pictures.

Yeah, Sept 5 for the first MNSSHP is a little strange. Even more strange to me is that the castle ice lights are already on. It messes up close pictures of the castle, and they won't be used for 2 more months :confused3

vdarrell, this made us both laugh. Lease keeps telling me she needs to find a more expensive hobby to keep up with my spending :rolleyes1

Thanks :) I took 430 pics today, but many are probably duplicates as I'm taking full advantage of 5 frames per second on my camera to make sure I get a keeper of every shot.

Today was a much better day for the weather.. low 90s and mostly sunny all day long. We started in MK... we tried to make it for the rope drop show, but when we got on the express monorail at the TTC with 15 minutes to spare, we sat at the station for just about that amount of time, not sure why. We were passing the entrance in the monorail when the show ended :headache: Oh well.

It was another day of almost no crowds at all, the longest wait was for Splash Mountain at about 3-4 minutes :cool1: We did pretty much all the major attractions by about 2pm, then headed back to our room for a nap before dinner in Epcot at Garden Grill. We got to Epcot a bit early for dinner, so we hung out in The Seas for a while. Dinner at Garden Grill gets a mixed review. The food selection was limited (by design) and quality was hit and miss, but the character interaction was fun, some of the food was delicious, and we liked the setting overlooking some of the scenes from Living with the Land.

After dinner we only had time to ride Soarin (still rocks!) before everything was closing, so we went to Downtown Disney and hung out at Disney Quest for about an hour and a half.

Another great day! Tomorrow is AK in the morning, Jiko for dinner (really looking forward to this) and MK has EMH evening, but we're reconsidering our plans since we've accomplished so much in MK so far and haven't been to the Studios yet.

A quick selection of the 400+ photos I took today...

I guess I got over-excited but I saw a hidden Mickey in your picture post about that aligator thingy that had all of your glow paraphenalia lying all over it.

I think I'm over Dis-ed. :surfweb:

Your pictures are BEAUTIFUL...SUCH CLARITY....I am sure this is somewhere in this thread, but what kind of camera/lens are you using? You are also very talented with composition of the photos. I love them! Hope you are having fun. We leave on Friday for WDW and all my older daughter keeps saying is, I know we're not going to get there....I know there will be a hurricane....I should have bought trip insurance...She is driving me NUTS.
Just seeing your photos makes me want to be there NOW. I have been to WDW a hundred times, but I love to take pics...DH complains..."Don't you have enough pictures?" Hey with digital photos you can never have enough, right? Enjoy the rest of your trip:woohoo:

they already have the ice lights up????
geez...

and again, your pictures are beyond stunning....they look fake they're so good (and i mean that in a good way)...
that first monorail shot is unbelievable!!!

you should sell your pictures to disney...they don't have anything as good as these!! :worship: :worship:

geez...

They were putting them up two weeks ago when we were there, they had the crane fully up and WORKING on the top turrets of castle for most of the week. I assumed they were doing essential work after Storm Fay had brushed through, but a CM said she thought it was the Xmas lights being put up. I commented on how bad Show that was, and she kinda agreed.

Code and Lease,

Read all the trip report to date and the pictures and storyline are FANTASTIC!!! If you can't go to WDW it is the next best thing to being there. Keep up the good work and look forward to being on this trip with you two as it unfolds.

All the best,

Bob and Nancy Ryan

:dance3:

:worship: :worship: Fantastic photo's Code! :worship: :worship:

Can't wait to see more!

Hi Code & Lease! :wave2:

So great to see your at the parks and doing a live report!!:cool1: I'll keep my fingers crossed that you don't have any impact from Ike!

Since you are at POP again I was wondering if you could give me any tips on requesting a specific area of the resort to stay in? You have both stayed at POP for all of your visits, which area do you prefer?

Thanks for your help, and I can't wait to hear tonights live report!

Good weather, good day, and another great batch of pictures. What was the food porn shot with the strawberries? Ummmm. Really like the various monorail shots - you've got a good eye young man! And so far it is looking like the Sony was a great choice.

Now for me, it's back to the :laundy: .

Wow already! As usual Code, your photos are magnificent! I agree with Abby's Dad that you are both looking good and already seem to be in relax mode! I hope the low crowds continue for you and those nasty storms stay far away. I love all your photos from Epcot at night. IllumiNations looks wonderful and those Monorail shots are fantastic!

Enjoy,Suz
