Hi everyone,
I may have missed some reviews on this restaurant, but I am wondering how it is, the menu looks good, and I love Italian, so any reviews/advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks guys

Amazing! I have a ton of pics and a review from my April trip...the link is in my signature

Pretty good. Honestly, we thought the food didn't justify the price (not that it's all that unusual at WDW) but I don't see us returning anytime soon. If you're on the DDP, I'd say go for it. For cash, I'd skip it.

We went on our trip in February and we loved it!!! We did lunch and we were on the DDP so the price was not an issue. I think that it might be a little steep if you had to pay out of pocket but the food was really good.

I was there last week and really enjoyed it. My husband and I shared an entree and had plenty to eat. The food was comparable to someplace like Macaroni Grill--above average, but not the best I've ever had. The service was fantastic, though. My water glass was never empty. :thumbsup2

I thought the food was MUCH better than macaroni grill. Like not even comparable. I guess it depends on what you order and what you're expecting. You'll get lots of differing opinions...some people will automatically hate it because it's expensive. Others will love it only because it's expensive so they're getting a lot of $$ for a DDP credit. If you like italian food, try it...but be more adventurous than spaghetti!

We had spicy mussels and sweet and sour meatballs for appetizers, my husband had the pork shank and I had lasagna as entrees. The lasagna noodles were definitely home made - like my grandmother's were - not the think, rubbery ronzoni kind. The pork shank fell off the bone. It's more Italian-Italian than American-Italian. We really liked it a lot and we're going back next month.

As a contrast, the couple next to us was disappointed that Mozzarella sticks, fried calamari, and Chicken Parm were not on the menu. So they ordered spaghetti and meatballs and they did not eat the meatballs because they were made of veal not beef.

Our server was also excellent, though I think she is back in Italy now (she was leaving right after we were there in Dec).

We weren't super impressed when we went there last October. DH enjoyed his soup, but my tomato & mozzarella was made with substandard tomatoes--they were mushy and flavorless.

I had the bucatini and he had the lasagna. Mine was all right, but again on the bland side and the peas were undercooked. DH liked his lasagna, but I thought it honestly tasted like Chef Boyardee--some combination of the spices and the mushiness just immediately brought to mind Beefaroni.

Someone at the next table had the tagliatelle, and I swear I had to stop myself from wandering over and asking for a bite. It looked fantastic.

The desserts were OK--there wasn't a whole lot that sounded appealing. I got the blood orange and lemon sorbet and I think the chocolate torte? Whatever it was, it was servicable but not fantastic.

I might give it a try again someday if we have a TS credit leftover and can't think of anything else to do with it. But I'm not in any hurry.

How is it compared to Alfredo's? I must say, I do miss the fettuccine alfredo.

Had a delicious meal there this January. It was super good by Disney standards, at least (which in general aren't always the highest).

Expensive, but we'd do it again.

We ate there on our family trip last December and I thought it was one of the better meals of the trip. :thumbsup2

IMHO there's no contest.......Alfredo's was far better than this new place. I miss the fettuccini Alfredo too, very much so. I can't believe how bad our meal was (BOTH our meals) and how people can be raving about Tutto. :confused3

A big yuck from us. We won't be going back.

We liked Alfredo's but Tutto Italia's food is a step up for sure. More upscale and real Italian .

The best meal I have ever had on property That includes every restaurant on property except VIC & als, Jiko. I have found that Italian food oppinions are quite varried but this restaurant serves real Italian food. Alfredo sauce was the crutch that Alfredo's leaned on as far as I am concerned. However ALOT of people liked it soooo... :thumbsup2
