Group of 10, three of which are kids so character meals are important. Characters the kids want to see the most are Donald, Mickey, Winnie the Pooh, and Princesses. Staying at Beach Club for 7 days, but since we are arriving very late at night, we will have an extra day worth DDP credits to play with.

Saturday EPCOT in Afternoon
Cape May Character breakfast– later in morning, need to sleep in a bit due to late arrival
Dinner at ‘Ohana

Sunday EPCOT day
CS lunch
Garden Grill Character dinner

Monday MK day
CS lunch
Crystal Palace Character dinner

Tuesday HS day
CS lunch
Cape May dinner

Wednesday AK day
CS Lunch
Boma dinner

Thursday MK morning, open afternoon
Cinderella’s Royal Table lunch
CS dinner

Friday – Open
CS lunch
Whispering Canyon dinner

Questions:
Anyone think two all you can eats type meals on day one too much?

Any better options at HS on Tuesday rather than going back to resort for Cape May Dinner?

I also need to cut one table service meal due to DDP credits, leaning towards Boma on Wednesday and replacing it with another CS. The reason for this is because AK/Boma is further away and with small kids it may be more difficult to last all day until dinnertime at AK, and be more of a pain to go back and forth from the resort for a mid day break.

Any other comments or suggestions?

Wait - 7 nights or 8 nights? DDP credits go per night, not per day. Assuming you mean 8 nights = 8 credits and currently have 9 which is why you need to cancel one. Which is a pity because you have some pretty good picks.

I'd say to get your Princess fix at Akershus (1TS) rather than at CRT (2TS). Make it your Saturday dinner, which gives you the added advantage of staying in Epcot and makes it more likely that you can also see Illuminations that first night. And while the apps/salads are buffet style, the entree is plated; takes care of your concern that the meals would be too large. Move Ohana to the Thursday night dinner instead and have CS for lunch that day in the MK.

On Tuesday, unless Sci-Fi's theming AND menu really appeal to the entire group, I think you're best to keep the Cape May dinner. It is non-character but does offer a nice variety of food that should please a large group. IMHO the food is much better than the H&V buffet in DHS.

Boma is sooooo good that I don't want to encourage you to go elsewhere. Get an early ADR; no later than 5:30, and plan on leaving the park before close. Plan to see some of the long sit-down shows in AK in the afternoon if somebody needs to snooze. Turn the kids loose in the Boneyard for as long as they need for unstructured play if they're getting frazzled. Also take advantage of Rafiki's place and the petting-zoo-type area there for some down time. It is quite possible to put in a full day at AK without hauling back to the resort for a mid-day break so long as you don't try to tour commando style. And AK really lends itself to slow discovery.

Overall, it sounds great.
