how is the weather during gay days usualy?

Hello all, just wondering how the weather is at that time of year. I have only been to the World once, in Mid September. Being from Phoenix with a Dry Heat, i felt like i was going to die when i experienced that much humidity. I know its hot in Phoenix, but when you sweat out here you actually DRY OFF, out there you stay sweaty all day, at least i did. Im sure you get used to it if you live out there. Im thinking of taking my GF out there around the time of Gay days. We are a Straight couple, but lets be honest, sometimes Gay people are just more fun. I want excitment and lots of energy and im sure there is more of both during Gay Days than at other times. The only thing that is stopping me is the possible weather, it REALLY affected out last trip out there, at least for me. Thanks all !

It can be toasty and humid, so drink lots of water. It's not normally quite as hot as September, although that's not saying much

It will occasionally rain in the afternoon too, but that just helps cool things down for a bit.

Personally, I find June quite hot and humid. So hot, that I'm one of the few who won't wear a red t-shirt (tank maybe). It's too dark of a color and I far prefer lighter colors during the hottest months.

You'll be hot. It's humid, and as ConcK said, will probably rain at least once a day.

your right, gay people are ALWAYS more fun why cant they do a Gay Days in like January??! Winter Gay Days for those of us not so keen on 180% percent humidy. Oh well, i guess its my lot in life to suffer floridas extreme heat.

I'm also a Floridian, and live in Central Florida (where do I introduce myself?)
June in Orlando is pretty dam hot. You really need to dress for it. You will never be dry, so wear all cotton (that should help dry you up) and light colors. Drink lots of water and stay in the shade. The MK is really fun with a swarm of red, and the energy is crazy. If you have never done the Gay Days route, do it at least once. After seeing the MK on Gay Days you will never view it the same.
Oh- and if you looking for a more chill day-but with some gay spice. Try EPCOT on Sunday (it has more AC places too)

I'm guessing it's in June to be in the same month as Pride events, but earlier in the month so as not to conflict with said events. Also maybe to take whatever small weather advantage there is in holding something closer to late May than early July?

I'm just bummed that our anniversary is June 16, so we will just miss all the fun by a few days when we arrive on the 13th. (But on a cooler note, it meant that the first day CA opened their doors for legal gay weddings last summer was our 10th anniversary!)
