How is the seating with fantasmic dinner package

Hi: Is the seating location good with the fastamic dinner pckg's, also how long is the show. Oh one more question do the seats have backs on them?

They have one whole section blocked off for the Dinner Package, I would recommend sitting as close to center of the ampitheatre as possible. We didn't sit in the reserved section because we found better seats and only had to get there 30 minutes early!

The show was about 25 minutes long and it is incredible! One of my most favorite things to do at Disney! The seats do not have backs on them, but are like bleacher style seats.

Great job answering the questions! The only thing I will add that the OP asked is that the seats do not have backs to them.

We were there about a week ago. I agree with what was said so far but would like to add a couple of things.

1. We arrived only 20 minutes before the show and were able to sit in the front row ( though off to the side a little because of it being the reserved seating area ). My daughter ( 5 years old ) loved sitting with no one in front of her so no restriced view.

2. Depending on which way the wind is blowing ( if at all ) you can get light spray of water on you sitting in the first couple of rows, which might be enough to mess with a camera or other electronic equipment.

3. We brought bug repellant bracelets at K-Mart which glow in the dark and kept the gnats away ( and the few mosquitoes as well ) The Gnats drove a few of the people around us crazy. I don't know if they get to everyone in the seats or those of us just down by the water.. but it's a good idea to bring some repellant anyhow. ( we got attacked by mosquitos near the Grand Floridian parking lot as well one day...) if you can find the bracelets they are very convenient, about $2. each they look like coils and stretch to find your ankle or wrist.. the ones we got glow but they have normal colors as well.

4. We ate at the Diner to get the tickets.. it's a buffet style resturant and the food was terrific.. ( as I think most of disney food is. ) If your eating at some point in the day on site, you might as well make it here and get the tickets... If you end up seeing seats in the main section that seem better to you, you can move there.. but not vice versa.

Some nights there are two shows, if you can hang for the later show, do so.. it's usually less crowded.
