When I started coming to these boards, I had preconceived notions of how Disney was going to be. Based on childhood experiences, I just wasn't a fan. Despite that, I thought about giving Disney a chance again and trying an upcoming trip. To be frank, my expectations were quite low.

Without going into too much detail, because I'm a freak about jinxing things. A friend heard about my trip and told a CM about it. Some of the things that this CM is willing to do for my family is huge. I have been completely floored by his generosity. If everything this CM says can or does happen, HOW can I say thanks? I want to stress that I didn't ask for anything. If nothing happens on our trip, I won't be disappointed. Being with my family on this trip is already reward enough. This was just a CM hearing about my average trip like anyone else, and seeing what he could do.

I was hesitant to say yes to things he suggested, just because I wasn't sure if saying yes would be the right thing to do. After listening to TONS of podcasts, including the DIS, I'm convinced that CM's make the park a unique and killer experience. So what or how should I do to say thanks? A gift? Letter? I am a fiercely loyal individual that doesn't forget the people that take care of me or my family.. So any thoughts?

I third what the otehrs said. Nothing beats a note to management. FAR too often they hear the opposite. Hardly anyone takes the time to say something nice. I do that whenever I can, no matter where it is. Especially at schools too. Teachers really appreciate (so I'm told ;) ) when a parent send kind notes to administration. :thumbsup2 VERY kind and sweet of you to want to return the kindness! Could you imagine the world we'd live in if everyone was like that? :cloud9:

Stop by guest services at MK and let them know. I'd also follow it up with a letter. There are various rules about gifting CMs and most cannot except any so I'd help him improve within the company. Going to guest services will do just that. :)
