How is the POP bus service during busy times?

Hello! We are traveling to WDW and staying at POP in late December. Can someone who has been to POP during a busy travel time please tell me what to expect from the buses. Should I expect a long wait, or do the buses run pretty frequently? We stayed at ASMo a few years ago and the bus service was great, but because there are more rooms at POP and thus more people, I am wondering if the wait may be longer. Of course since ASMo shares buses with the other AS, maybe it all evens out? Any thoughts? Thanks!

I don't know if december compares to the crowds of mid-July when we go, but it we used the buses at Pop (and it was crowded)
Never had any issues getting anywhere, it was always getting back.

We once waited at MK 10:30pm for 40 minutes for a pop bus. my kids and I just eeked on, standing room only of course.
