How is the morning at a PM EMH park?

For our upcoming trip I would really like to do Epcot on a Friday morning (rope drop), no ADR just QS lunch in SS, leave around 1-2 and then hang at our resort for the rest of the day. This is a PM EMH night.

Per easywdw.com it is the worst park to be in because of the EMH. Will it be overly crowded in the morning? Am I making a big mistake?

We would like to tackle a bulk of future world. We won't be going to WS. We will have Epcot evenings once we switch over to the BC.
