Right now they are calling for mid 80's this next coming week. Now I have been there in July and Sept and WOW :earseek: the humidity is unbearable.
I am curious how it is now??

I've gone the first or second week of May the past 5 years. It's not as humid as summer as evidenced by the lack of rain (building humidity brings the daily afternoon rain in summer). It can get hot - into the low 90's. Last year was perfect, mid 80's.

It's not bad at all - but I think the lovebugs are due (if they're not already there)

Have a wonderful holiday!!!
:wave2:

I leave in 10 days and I haven't really been watching the weather...nothing I can do about it anyway...but I am SO hoping for low humidity! I can handle hot...I've done Vegas when it was 114!...but oh, how I can't stand humidity! Keeping my fingers crossed.......

Noticed lovebugs yesterday, but they aren't too bad...yet.

When we were there in 2003 (the first week of May), we had 2 days that hit 98*. :sunny:

It was pretty darn hot. We had 80-85* days for the rest of our trip but I'll never forget a day in Epcot and a day at MGM that we could barely move 10 feet because some of my party :sad2: are very air conditioning dependent.

I can say I would never have ducked in to see "Walt Disney: One Man's Dream" if we didn't need the airconditioning so bad!! It was very interesting!! :teeth:

Are there still forest fires in the spring? Back when I did the CP in 2000, right around now there some bad fires in the woods around the area, resulting in a 'lot' of smoke...nothing like leaving mgm at 2pm and needing headlights...like bad smelling fog.... everything smelled like a campfire....

We went towards the end of May last year and were shocked by how low the humidity was. Don't get me wrong, it was definitely hot (high 80s). But it wasn't the sticky, nasty hot that you get later on in the summer.

I hope the humidity stays away!! We leave in exactly a week and I'm dreading the weather already. I love everything about Florida (would like to live there) but I just wish the humidity wasn't so darn high!

This is me when its humid....

I am hoping for some nice, hot weather! If it is humid, I can handle that too. As long as it doesn't rain all day every day, I will be VERY happy. Can't wait! 8 days to go!

I hope its good and warm

and the one thing I like about humidity is it keeps in the heat for the evening and I live that

8 to go :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

We were there in early May of 2003 and again in 2004. The first time it was hot, but not too humid. In 2004 it was perfect -- not too hot, not too humid. I can't stand humidity and I thought the weather in early May was ideal for someone humidity-averse like me.

Yep, we're due, but we won't be there until tomorrow! :rotfl2:

Uh oh - what on earth are lovebugs????

Also, we are planning summery clothes for day-time, but will we need jackets/sweatshirts at night?
Thanks! :)

The final countdown - we leave in 8 days!

Yes I second that - what are lovebugs. Do they love to bite and annoy us? I already have sunscreen/bug spray combo. Do I need anything else??

Love bugs don't bite, but are annoying. March 2004 they were horrible in AK, but I didn't see them anywhere else.

::MickeyMo I've gone in late July/early August. I figure after going then, I can handle anything. ::MinnieMo

We are in disney on Sunday and hope for sun and no humidity.
