Hello all,
I am looking for advice/reviews of the newly renovated Royal Plaza Hotel on Hotel Plaza Blvd at Downtown Disney. I was able to get two nights of my stay there for free w/ free breakfast each day and booked a Premium Tower Room w/ whirlpool tub for 125 a night.

I have read mixed reviews but thought I would post here to see what the feeling is about this place. Any reviews you can give me on the quality of the rooms, housekeeping, etc would be great and if you think for what I'm paying per night is worth it.

Hi.. You might want to read this thread:

We stayed here June 19-23rd. I was happy with our stay, but I don't think I would have paid as much as you have. For the price you paid I could have had a moderate resort at Disney with AAA rates. We'd paid for a deluxe tower room, but got a premium tower room with the jacuzzi, a geat view of DTD & MK Fireworks (we had a corner room) on the 19th floor.
We booked through Bookit.com and at that time it had 4 nights for the price of 3, and their discounted nightly rate was $99, so it came to $74.25 a night.

Of course different times of the year are different prices. You may have gotten the best price for the time of year you are going.

The rooms were well kept, very spacious! The bathroom could have been cleaner for me. The tile grout was so much more white where there was no traffic (under the sink, vanity).
Staff was friendly and helpful. The pool was well warmed, but small and no slide or anything. And, the older kids were a bit wild around the pool, there was no supervision.
No valet parking, but parking is convenient. Check in and check out was quick and easy.

All in all a good stay for us... especially for the price.

I hope you enjoy your stay too!

Thank you for that posting! The time of year that I go to Disney which is the end of October is getting more and more expensive each year because of the Food and Wine Festival at EPCOT. The popularity is growing and so are the prices (grin). With getting 2 of my eight nights for free it is as if I paid say 100 bucks a night so I didn't think that was too bad but since I haven't seen any really glowing reviews of the room I might cancel and just stay at Disney.

Well, why not??
They say you can have your packages sent back to the resort just like the other Disney properties.
At $10.00 a day that adds up!!
If you hop, you just pay for one park, right?
:confused3
