How is the Epcot Character Story telling?

I am bringing my friend and her 2 kids, age 4 and13, for their 1st visit!! I am wondering if the Legacy on Tiles is a better choice for us,(2 "free" images on the tiles, I guess). I think it would be nice for her 2 kids to be on the tiles,... but then again... seeing the characters would mean close up pictures with them too.... a BIG plus for the kids...(not to mention .... ME - a big kid at heart!) LOL! :Pinkbounc Either way, I would sacrifice my own personal time with the characters... for the kids to have their images on stone if u think the character thing isn't all that great. thanks for your quick response, as we have to make reservations for the character thing,if we choose it. :D Also, who are the characters and WHERE do they actually DO the storytelling?

can someone please elaborate on this feature? you know, the who, what and where.

Also, is this just for guests with the package or can anyone purchase tickets for this (I am assuming you need to pay extra, hence the "choice" as part of the package)

Thanks for the info!

I did find this as a short explanation.......

Tough call if it was me. Our family has two tiles on Leave a Legacy, my wife and I on one, my DD and DS on the other. I always enjoy going to see it on my visits, part of WDW. But then the characters are always fun too. If me, probably the tiles. :) There are many opportunities to interact with the characters elsewhere.
