We just returned from the 7 night cruise...opps I mean the 4 night cruise  and we are taking advantage of the 25% off. We have a cruise held for November 27th for the 7 day eastern. Anywho, what is the weather like this time of year? Is the water cold? Is castaway warm enough for swimming?

Thanks for all your help!

We've done several early December cruises, and we love them. The weather is nice, but you may need a light jacket if you'll be on deck at night. The water in the Carribbean is also nice that time of year, although people differ so much about water temperature that i hate to make such a statement! :)

All in all, it's my favorite time of year to cruise.

We also have cruised around this time frame
and we have had great weather. Just one
day on each of the cruises we did in that time
frame, it rained in the morning at Castaway.

We love the ship anytime, but it is a nice time
of year to sail.

Have a AWESOME time!!!

We did a four-day cruise at that time last year and the weather was wonderful! Mid- to high-80s during the day and not a cloud in the sky. The water at CC was like a bathtub.

That said, the weather can be a bit iffy so there are no guarantees. I think the cruise after us had much cooler temperatures and high winds, and was unable to dock at CC. We were in WDW for the next few days and the weather went from highs in the 80s to highs in the 60s overnight.

Also, the hurricane season TECHNICALLY runs through the end of November, but storms that late in the season are extremely rare. Of course so is three hurricanes making landfall in the U.S. in the course of a single month.

We went on the Western Magic at the end of Nov. last year and the weather was great. However, when we got back to Fl. around 12/1, it was freezing! We stayed in Orlando for three days after the cruise and were unable to swim in the hotel pool as it was just too cold. The locals said it was unseasonably cold, though.
I'd say go for the Nov. cruise as the price is good, the crowds are low, and the weather in the Carribbean is great!

We had very warm weather on our 11/15 Eastern last year. It was VERY hot in the ports actually. We rebooked on the 12/4 for that reason...and that we loved seeing the ship decorated for the holidays.
