I would love input of others experience with this hotel. I did request a 2nd or 3 floor room as I am a sensitive sleeper and don't do well with noise. I would appreciate all feedback!

Thanks!

I'm curious about this too. We are staying there in March for the first time.

We really like it. The location of course cannot be beat! We had one of their mini suites which was just an oversized room, with a half wall to sort of separate a couch that made into a bed. Our room was spotless and very spacious. It had a nice, long bathroom counter with plenty of space to put things and it was separate from the toilet and shower/tub. I really like that feature when you have four people getting ready at the same time! It also had a frig and microwave. I do remember the towels and toiletries being very nice for a motel if that makes sense (more like hotel quality I guess you could say). Above all, our room was spotless and we could even see the fireworks from the walkway outside it which was nice.

My only complaints (and they are not deal breakers for us to stay there again) are the pool and parking lot. The parking lot is small and the spaces are so cramped. If you have to leave to go do other things, be aware that the lot can be quite full if you come back. Probably because they let you leave your car there a bit on check out day and of course you have the overlap of people who are checking in. But by evening its usually fine. We just found that one day we left in the morning to go to the grocery store and when we came back around noon, there was no place to park. While I was in asking them what we should, thankfully somebody pulled out and dh could pull in. But the spaces were so tight!

The pool is okay, just very small, sort of in an interior courtyard thing with absolutely no atmosphere. But our kids were fine with it, it was just sort of a let down (we had stayed at the TRopicana the trip before and they had a lovely pool area that was much nicer).

They have a free breakfast which is a nice perk. In all we really liked this place and it and the Tropicana are our top choices for offsite stays. I prefer the rooms at BWPPI and the pool at Tropicana.

The BWPPI is the best location to get to the dlr if you are staying off-site. We had tried different hotels right next to the crosswalk right on harbor blvd.

We had tried both the mini suites and the two double standard room. The mini suites is a little bit bigger than the standard room, but it does come with a sofa bed for extra people. It has all the standard amenities such as microwave, refrigerator, etc. for a hotel room. They have free wifi internet. Some of the other hotels around the dlr area don't give free internet.

The only problems I have with the hotel is the parking issues. You have to get there early to get a spot especially the hotel shares the same parking lot with Captain Kidd's restaurant. It has a very small pool in the middle of the hotel, but I don't go swimming that much so I don't care about the pool theming and size.

The continental breakfest is good for a quick drink and bagels before we head over to the park. It is located upstairs at the Captain Kidd's restaurant.

We have been very happy with our stays at BWPPI. This last trip we had a total of 3 rooms. My mom had one, DH+DDandI shared one and MIL, FIL, SIL shared one. Each of us had the King room with a pull out sofa bed.

First of all the location is wondeful. You can't beat that walk to or from the parks and downtown Disney. Other things we like are the staff have always been helpful and friendly, the room has always been clean and have plenty of room for us. Plus we have a fridge and microwave which is great for us! The continental breakfast is perfect for our group in the morning...this year they had 4 cold cereals, oatmeal, toast, bagels, apples, oranges, hard boiled eggs and biscuits and gravy and danishes. With the AAA discount we always get our room for less than $90 per night. The pool is small but fine for us.

We have never had noise issues. We've always had ground floor rooms. I request the restaurant side of the hotel because the maids load up their carts on the other side and I hear it can be noisy. I also request the rear of the property because I figure we'll get less foot traffic that way. Though the parking lot is small, we've never had problems. I think because our room is towards the back, we are always able to find a spot and we really don't move the car once we park. We did hear the garbage pick up one day on our last trip but it was at 8 or 9 am and we were already awake so it did not bother us.

My husband does not like the fact that ESPN is not one of their cable channels. My Mom does not like their in room coffee (but does drink the one from the free breakfast). I don't think I could sleep on the fold out bed, too uncomfy for me. But DD (2.5)slept fine on it. DH claims he could sleep on it if he had too and SIL slept on the one in her room as well. But personally, I wouldn't put an adult on it. I'd book the queen suite if I needed bed space for more than 2 adults.
