How is room 2064?

I just found out that we got upgraded to a cat 9 from an 11 which is great! I looked up the location of the room and I see it is across the hall from conference rooms and is one floor below the atrium. I can see noise from traffic from the conference rooms, but how about the atruim?

I switched to 2088 b/c I didn't know what the conference rm traffic would be like & since this would be our 1st cruise, I didn't want to take the chance.

When are you going that you were already upgraded? I wonder if I should've kept my original cat 11.... DH didn't want to take the chance of being upgraded or not - he wanted a porthole.

We are on the 5/20 Wonder. We originally booked a cat 12 and were given an 11 automatically. I got my docs yesterday and noticed the upgrade.

I guess I'm not that worried about the conference rooms since we won't be spending that many daytime hours in the room anyway.

We just returned from the 4/10 western cruise on the Magic and were in room 2128. We loved it, as a matter of fact, we rebooked for Thanksgiving 2005 and requested the same room. We walked the hall many times a day going to and from the mid-ship elevators and it was very peaceful and quiet no matter what time of day it was. I never saw any traffic in or out of the conference rooms, so not sure who exactly uses them!! I'm sure the noise from the Atrium could filter down during some of the activities, but unless you are an "early to bed..." type of person, you won't be in your room when those things are going on anyway!!
