I rarely see anything written about this restaurant, and DH would really like to try it. I'm on the fence. How is it? Do you have pics of the food? Would you go again?

Thanks a bunch. :flower3:

I really liked the atmosphere- but sadly, I thought the food was only just ok. My DH had the lamb and I had the beef kabobs. Neither of us cared for the lamb- it was pretty stringy. My kabobs were better- but I wouldn't call them mindblowing. The belly dancer and musicians were fun- but she performed for all of 5 minutes and the musicians were on for about 10 minutes.

I'm very glad to hear you like it. Thanks for the link. The reviews seem overall positive, except for a lot of people not getting their coffee with their dessert. :lmao: As long as I know not to expect coffee with dessert, I think it'll be a good time. Seems like many people enjoy the lamb, maybe I'll give it a shot. I'll have to get over the "cute lamb" factor!

DH talked me in to this restaurant on our wedding and Disneymoon trip in 2006. I was completely out on trying it.....but I am so glad I did. It was my favorite restaurant of the whole trip! The beef kebabs were delicious and the half carafe, the specialty coffees, the belly dancer, the decor, it was just all so much fun and wonderful! Our last trip in December of 2008, the restaurant fell of the par for our yearly visit, but it may have been an off nighte, they do happen. I love the place, give it a try!!!!!:lovestruc

We really liked it. I don't recall the names of their foods, but they have these beef and chicken pastries covered in cinnamon that were so good. Also loved the specialty coffee-very spicy & cinnamony. The belly dancer asked my daughter on stage and they danced together, which totally made her day. It's true that the entertained only lasts about 10 minutes, but it is good.

Mu husband and I both thought all the food was very dry. It could have been because we ate a late lunch and maybe it had been sitting a while, but I should not have been served to us. The atmosphere is neat and the music was nice, but there are better places to eat at Epcot. We will not be going back!

Glad to see this thread. We are planning to go in August and I was wandering the same thing. Not too many reviews out on it.

DH and I will be eating at Marrakesh for the first time in Oct. It's great to hear so many good reviews of it. I can tell you that we had lunch in Morocco at the QS twice last month because we loved it so much! If the food in Marrakesh is anything like the QS then I'm sure it would be excellent!

The last time we ate there, I went all out and had the Royal Feast. I thought the lamb was the best item on the plate.

I don't know if they still have it, but they had a hot sauce you could put on your couscous (at least, that's what the server recommended.) I LOVE heat in my food, but this stuff really lit me up. My mouth was cooked for the rest of the day.

Tell you what I really loved - the hot Moroccan tea. Minty and just yummy.

We went there last June. It was great! The atmosphere is great, and so isn't the food. I really liked it. I had the Beef couscous dish was great. The service was also wonderful!

Great! I'm looking forward to it now. Thank you all!! (Not that this closes discussion on it!)
