We have a room at POR reserved for 2 nights in March. I was wondering if anybody has stayed in Oak Manor there. After looking at the map, I think it will be the most centrally located to several areas: FQ, pool, food court, arcade, bus stop. I don't know how much time we will spend at the pool as we will have spend the first 3 nights of our trip at the Contemporary and will surely use the pool there.

I thought I read somewhere that Oak Manor had smoking rooms. Has anyone stayed in a non-smoking room there, and if so, did it still smell like smoke.

get Mangolia Blends - same location - but NON Smoking.

short walk (out the back) to the bus stop - right next to a quiet pool and short walk to the food court - you are going through the main pool.

We stayed in Oak Manor on our last POR visit. As an anti-smoking asthmatic, I can honestly say I didn't smell smoke or have any problems related to smoking. I loved Oak Manor's location.

That is a great location and one of bldgs we always request. I think you will like it. It is also next to one of the quiet pools and just a short walk to the main building.

I just stayed in Oak Manor 11/29 to 12/4 and it was a wonderful location. I was in room 9092. Everything was just a short walk away and we were very close to the quiet pool. I had a non-smoking room and there was no trace of any smoke smell.

I stayed in Oak Manor once. Didn't notice if the room was smoking or not, but I'm a non smoker and never smelled anything. I didn't even know there were any smoking rooms at Oak Manor til I got back.
