How is POP in summer (June)?

Thinking about changing our plans from March to June b/c of dd's school. How is Pop in the summer? I'm concerned about not having shade at the bus stops and crowds at the pool. We've never been there in the summer. Is POP less shaded than the mods?

If asked a question about shade (or lack of it) - yes, Pop has less shade than the Mods - it has less trees. But - it's definitely not something that we noticed, nor would it deter us from staying there again.

In the summer - all resorts seem to lack shade.

Shade in the summer at Disney is an issue almost everywhere, as the poster above has noted.

I have stayed at P/C in June several times and shade was never an issue for me..

As with all things in life, your personal experience may differ.

We were there the 2nd week of June and LOVED the POP! There isn't really shade at the bus area, but we didn't have issues with crowds at the pools. We used the main pool and splash area daily and also swam a the smaller pool closest to our room 2x. My girls loved the pools and the adults did, too.
