How is parking at Contemporary (for Chef Mickey's)?

I am debating what day to PS my character breakfast at Chef Mickey's. I would love to have it the morning we check out of the Pop Century to head home (our last little bit of magic before we go!!), however, I really want to 'hit the road' as early as possible....I would drive to the Contemporary probably at 7 for a 7:30 am PS and hopefully be on the road by 9 am. Just curious if this sounds feasible and what the parking situation would be like (This would be April 23rd) at this time of day. I've never been to the Contemporary before so have no clue as to the parking setup but dont' want to waste time doing the vulture circling and/or waiting in long lines to enter the lot. Thanks.

parking is really simple at the contemporary...they will issue you a voucher that is good for 3 hours, which will give you plenty of time....

Because Chef Mickey's is such a popular place, parking is sometimes tight at the Contemporary. If you self park, be prepared to park further away than you might like.

Of course, you can always Valet park your car. ($6 plus tips)

I was wondering about this too. We are having about 10-15 people (at last count) who will be doing a character breakfast through our "magical gathering." I wanted to set this up the same day we were going to do Magic Kingdom, which would be Sunday, August 1. My plan was to drive to the CR, have breakfast, take the monorail to the park, and then catch the monorail back to CR at the end of the day to avoid the long bus lines. I guess this isn't possible if they only give 3 hour vouchers though....how long can you park if you valet?

There is no time limit for valet parking.
