How is Orange Lake

We stayed at Lighthouse Key Resort which is right next door to Orange Lake.
We found a great shortcut that someone had posted on here and used it every day.

You go out of Orange Lake (you have to go right) and do a U- Turn back onto 192 the other way. Turn left onto Black Lake Road (there's a teal roof building across from it so you can identify prior to getting there) and follow it to Sherbeth. Follow Sherbeth to the end (it's a little windy). At the end, turn right at the traffic lights onto Oceala Parkway and follow the signs to whichever park you are heading to, or to Downtown Disney.

You are very close to Animal Kingdom. To return, you'll always follow the signs to Animal Kingdom, then turn left onto Sherbeth and backtrack.

We never ran into traffic, and once you do it, it's easy. You miss many traffic lights on 192, and lots of traffic. You could also go down 192, bypass Black Lake and turn left onto Sherbeth but it'll slow you down as you'll hit several more traffic lights.

That's the link to a map that's posted here... Lighthouse Key is placemarker 66 and you'll see Orange Lake. Pan to the right till you see Black Lake Rd. (it's not as far as it seems on this map)

You'll see a red line at some point which is outlining the shortcut from another location.
