I got ressies for dinner the night of MNSSHP....and I am so excited, but I was wanting to know how the food is here, I have read some not so good things about it, so I was wanting some opinions and advice about it....thanks everyone:thumbsup2

I love dinner at LTT but I'm sure you will hear from some who don't:goodvibes We had an early dinner there before MNSSHP in 2005 and it was a great way to start the evening. The characters and hostess were dressed for halloween and looked great!

I like the food. It's basic Thanksgiving type fare. If you haven't already check out the menu at allears. If it appeals to you I say go for it!

The family style service is great because you don't have to worry about missing a character while in line at a buffet.:cool1:

We love LTT. "Basic Thanksgiving dinner" is a great way to describe the food and the choices, tluvstink.
The characters are awesome in the way that they interact with all guests, young and old alike. We've been here several times and have never encountered any problems.

It was one of the best meals of our trip last year!!! We did it just before MNSSHP too-our ADR was for 5:30... basic Thanksgiving fare.... our girls loved it too :thumbsup2 I was surprised that after all the times we've been to Disney we'd never tried it here! :rotfl: We finished dinner and walked outside JUST as the MNSSHP was starting :thumbsup2

I reluctantly tried it a few years ago and it's become one of my favorite meals (Character or not) at WDW. I'm not a fan of the lunch, but love the dinner. The Character interaction has always been great and the food delish.

Have fun!

We ate there on Tuesday evening and it was an okay meal. I am pretty sure that you are not booking this restaurant for its gourmet menu, so you probably will not be disappointed. The salad was alright, the sides were fine, the rolls were good. The beef was a little done for my taste, but moist and edible. The turkey was good. My husband enjoyed the ham. Dessert was delicious! It is what it is. Have fun.

We love going to LTT and try to have dinner there on every trip. When I say "we", I am talking about all adults --DH, DDIL, DS and me. The food is good and plentiful but that's not why we go there. We find that LTT had the VERY BEST character meal in WDW. The characters there seem to be more fun than at other character meals and seem to get to every table several times during the meal.

As for the food, it's not gourmet but it's good and plentiful. You start with a salad that usually has a raspberry vinaigrette dressing and a large basket of rolls and butter. Then you get a plate with Yankee Pot Roast, turkey, ham and stuffing (everything is served family style). The sides are usually mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese and a vegetable (on most of our trips it has been green beans sauteed with garlic -- YUMMY!). Dessert is apple or cherry cobbler and ice cream. Some Disboarders have complained about the food -- particularly the mac 'n cheese because it is Stouffers "right out of the package." Well, the restaurant is sponsored by Stouffers. In any case, this is an all you can eat meal. I can say that we've rarely had seconds -- we are usually too stuffed.
I hope that you enjoy LTT as much as we do.

This is an every-trip-experience for us...we love basic food and the character interaction is great. My mouth is watering thinking about being there for dinner on June 20th.

As I posted on another thread, this is where we ended up last year during the MNSSHP, it was a hit! In MO you can't go wrong! Hope you enjoy:goodvibes

My family loved LTT, we will be going back this Sept. We enjoyed their food very much.:cheer2:
