Someone to rent out points for any resort, anytime. Doesn't the 7 month rule apply to everyone unless it's their home resort... then it's 11 month out?

Has anyone ever run across this?

Thanks, Janet

People who say that probably own points at all the resorts. Some members do own at all the resorts. The same booking rules apply to everyone.

It's also possible to have more than one UY, which could mean that some contract is always in the 7-month window.

More likely, it's just a simple way to advertise points that may not be strictly correct.

:confused3 But that wouldn't change the 7/11 month booking rules.

Remember that use-year has nothing to do with the 7 and 11 month windows.

If someone claims they can get you into any resort in the more than 7 months out either (1) they have a contract at every resorts, or more likely (2) they aren't actually the point renter, but are just a facilitator hooking up renters with other people's points.

Perhaps they are saying that you can theoretically use the points at any resort at any time of the year, which doesn't necessarily mean they'd be able to get the reservation that the renter requests.
