How is it getting a DAS at AK?

We should be arriving at the Dolphin around noon on our arrival day. We have ark reservations for AK that day and planned to go over in the afternoon. Should we enter AK first before we go to Guest Services, or enter the park and then go there? Do you think it will be quicker at Guest Services since we’ll be going in the afternoon and not early morning? Thanks.

They usually don't like to sign people up for the DAS at the ticket counter outside the park. More then likely they will tell you to go to guest services right inside the entrance. No one can say how long the line will be, that is just a matter of luck. It is what it is and there is no point in stressing about it.

The guest relations inside the tapstiles to the left is where we were told to go when we went two weeks ago. There are some guest relations (I found one outside the shop to the right over the bridge onto Discovery Island) but there isn't always somebody there to help you.
