I think the most important thing to remember is everyone is an individual with individual tastes. I say, try it, if you like it, great, if you don't you're now more informed.
I don't know why DH and I don't go to Fulton's for dinner. We seem to always go when we aren't hungry for a big meal. We like to sit at the bar and enjoy a few appetizers. I love the crab and lobster soup. The raw bar is delicous too!! I have also had great scallops. I guess I'm saying the food is all good. The service is always excellent. If you aren't sure about dinner, try it this way first.
We ate there for lunch back in May. As someone else stated it is VERY pricey. We had good service. The food was very good. I loved the boat and we would eat there again as we really enjoyed it. Sometimes you just have to throw caution to the wind and enjoy! Life's too short!
Well-it used to be the Empress Lilly!! But that changed when Fultons came into being. It's still a boat--but not the boat the Empress Lilly used to be.
If you could compare some photos side by side, you'd see what I mean.
The old Empress Lilly had 3 very nice restaurants---
