The menu at POP looks really interesting, especially those flatbread sandwiches. I read some of the reviews here: http://reviews.wdwinfo.com/showproduct.php/product/977/cat/41 , but I didn't see anything about these flatbreads, and if there is anything fun for breakfast (someone mentioned a breakfast burrito, which piqued my interest).

We're going in Dec, and I expect to eat a few meals there. So whaddya think?

We are going to pop also in 2 weeks. On the food review boards the pictures of the food looks good! (especially the meatball sub). I hear good reviews about their food court

We stayed at POP back in 06 and we are staying there again in December. I don't even recall flatbread on the menu, so I will be watching this thread!!

But, you have to try the tye dye cheesecake. OMG, it was amazing!! LOL, it probably didnt help that I was 5 mths pg, but I ate it every night!! :thumbsup2

Dh and i stayed at POP last September, we only ate one meal in the food court, but the omelet was very good, and tasty, and the fruit parfait snack DH bought was excellent!

The foodcourt is good, and there is a lot of choice which is fab! Even my health freak husband enjoyed it, when I was so worried he was going to hate it.

I wasn't a huge fan of the meatball sub, I've been spoiled by Subway's version which is much nicer! (just my opinion - try it!)

I liked it, totally better than I ever expected being "food court" food. Lots of choices and a lot of the stuff, burgers and whatnot, aren't kept under lights all day, they're grilling them up throughout the day, like if it's busy they throw on say 15 at a time and the lines move fast so usually everything you get is hot and fresh. I think it depends on the time of day too. We ate breakfast here the bulk of the past 2 trips because that's where we stayed and we used our snack and CS service credits from the DP. I'm the type of person that has to eat within like, 30 minutes of being awake so this was good for me. We only did 2 TS breakfasts, so I'd go down and use a snack credit for something small like an apple or something like that and that would tide me over til we got to our TS breakfast.

I'm not generally a food court or buffet person, and I like the food at POP, in fact we often drive over for a light dinner when staying at OKW.

We've stayed there twice and I've always thought they had a good variety of tasty things--particularly around dinner. Breakfast I vaguely remember being the usual waffles, pancakes, etc... Dinner time brings sandwiches, burgers, salads, pizza, pasta, chinese food, and (I think it's on weekends) they offer a "TV dinner" of something like fried chicken, for example.

The food court there is pretty good. Everything we ate was good, it wasn't fabulous by any stretch but was good.

The shrimp lo mein is incredible!!! We also like the pizza but only the food court ones, the delivery ones aren't good. The fried chicken dinners are good as well. We love the cheeseburgers but only if they are cooked fresh. We love the food court at pop.

I had the reuben flatbread in January and it was great! I really liked it. :thumbsup2

I saw that on the menu, and was a little hesitant to try it. I guess I'll try it on our next trip. I like a decent Reuben sandwich, and there doesn't seem to be a good one at Disney. The flatbreads looked better, so now it is on my "to do" list.

We ate one meal at POP in June when we were on the dining plan. DH had the blackened fish sandwich which he thought was very good and I had the chicken penne alfredo which was also very good. We were pleasantly surprised with the POP food court. If it was a fried chicken day we would have tried that also but we were headed home before the next one. We had sundaes for dessert which DH stated was the best deal at WDW. They were very large and we were stuffed by the time we left. A lady in line for the sundaes told me the ice cream area at POP was the best hidden deal in CS at WDW second only to the dole whips. :goodvibes

back in May what I liked about pop was the variety. The only thing I didnt' like was the shrimp lo mein..other than that anything else I had was pretty good. I loved going in for late night dessert before it all closed though..they have dirt. Oreo crumbles with chocolate pudding and a couple gummy worms..loved it :)

it is one of the reasons we go back to stay at Pop. I feel the food here is much better than most mods.

popcorn::

We just got back and ate at Pop several times...my DH loved the double bacon cheeseburger (he ate it several times)
The tuna was good and the nachos....
Breakfast was good and they have a nice selection of everything.
It does get busy at times.

It is really convient also..
