Thinking about going here for dinner the night of MVMCP. I have been many times for breakfast but never for dinner. It will be 4 adults but one of them loves Pooh. Any reviews on the food would be great. My other thought was the Plaza even though it is just sandwiches. I have been to the Plaza and thought the food was good. Should I stick with CP or switch to the Plaza?
Thanks everyone !!!!!

The food is just way too salty, we find that true with all the dinner buffets except Cape May Clambake...I would go to Tonys, The Plaza or GFC at the GF instead

In my experience, and my personal opinion, I loved Crystal Palace dinner and absolutely hated Tony's. Lol. Very different opinion MickeyNicki & I share. Doesnt help you much does it? :lmao:
I thought crystal palace had a nice variety and I was quite happy with the overall quality of food. Very delish. But Tony's is a different story. It was the worst meal in our 10 day trip my sons say. Lol. If you go to tony's, stay away from anything with tomato sauce in it. I think that might have ruined it for me. It was awful. I had the chicken parm. my son had the spag/balls. I tried his meatball and had to spit it into a napkin. It was gross. I have noticed that ppl who order things like steak, calamari etc, enjoy their meal very much. Not sure if that helps at all? :confused3

But I would recommend you stick with CP....or yes, the plaza.

We ate here before MNSSHP last October and found the food to be quite good. Not Fine Dining by any means, but on par with or better than any of the other WDW buffets - much better than Chef Mickeys!! We enjoyed it.

It had a huge variety of food, so everyone was able to find something they enjoyed, and the kids' selection was extensive. The food was hot and fresh, and there was a good selection of salads and fresh fruits. There was a Mediterranean Chicken dish that I quite enjoyed.

FWIW we didn't find it to be overly salty at all, but then we are not too sensitive to that. It all depends on individual tastes.

We love Crystal Palace for dinner. The food is quite good. Never have had it be to "salty". Once the potatoes were a bit high on the garlic side...but that was once. We always eat here as it is one of my favorites.

Definitely better than the Plaza...and the best TS in MK.

We hate the dinner at CP (but like the breakfast). Years ago it was alright but the food has become bland and tasteless, hot dishes were served cold, character interaction is pretty rushed and lousey, you will wait after your ADR time (could wait 45+ mins). Not worth the time or cost (or TS credit), IMO. It's one of those over-hyped restaurants that I just don't understand the fascination with. :confused3

We went there last year for the first time and loved it! We have an ADR there on the 30th of this month!!

We love Crystal Palace! We eat there every year. And last year, I was pregnant so we had to eat there twice. I love the salads and pasta. My husband loves the meats and potatoes. And the desserts are pretty yummy also. The only thing negative, is we always have to wait outside for 20-30 min in the heat w/ kids. But its so good, we do it every year!

Been for both breakfast and dinner, and I really like Crystal Palace. The character interaction is great (even for adults - I've never been with kids and I love it!) and I think the food is very good for a character buffet. There's also a great selection. I seriously can't wait to go back for lunch this trip!

I really like CP for dinner. There was a wide variety of foods and there was plenty that everyone in our group seemed to like. Plus, you can't beat the convenience. We dined there before MVMCP 2 years ago and it was perfect.

do CP for dinner every trip until my kids decided they were too old for Pooh and friends.

I really enjoyed the food there. There was a nice variety of salads and vegetables. I have read they downgraded from prime rib which would be disappointing, but I would not hesitate to eat there.

we went in november 2009 and vowed we would never be back, unless it was maybe for breakfast--never again for dinner.

The CP and CM are gross-for dinner or bfast. Something about them is just greasy and slimy. I'm not a fan.

We at dinner at the Crystal Palace last Friday (July 8th) and really enjoyed it. We've eaten breakfast there twice previously and this was our first time for dinner. It was one of our favorites of the trip. We did have to wait awhile to get seated (after our ADRs) but that was the only issue. The character interaction was great!
