How is Crystal Palace & Characters

I'm am thinking of trying Crystal Palace for Dinner this trip in November. How is the character interaction? We have done Chef Mickeys's and LTT and the interaction there was very good.

The character interaction is very good at the Crystal Palace. The food is also very tasty.

This is one of our favorite meals. We always try to do it on day-1 or day-2 because my DH says "I feel like I'm at Disney once I've eaten at Crystal Palace with Winnie the Pooh." The interaction is great, we saw the characters several times both times we have gone. I can say it is the one meal that is a MUST for us each trip!

the food is pretty similar to Chef Mickey's. We have been there a couple times and really enjoy it, and the only reason we haven't gone back recently is it seems like we see the Pooh characters multiple times around the parks, so we use the dining credit at a different buffet.

I've eaten there for lunch and dinner in the past and I love it there. The character interaction is great IMO and the food was much better than Chef Mickey's. I prefer lunch though because the menus are similar and it is much cheaper But all the times I have gone I have totally enjoyed it!

The characters always do a great job, but I should warn you that the Crystal Palace is HUGE and, depending on when you go in November, might be very crowded, which means you'll get less time with the characters. If you go when it's not very crowded, then the characters will have fewer tables to visit, which means you will get more time with them. You can also try booking an off-time to eat, like the very earliest lunch available or latest dinner. That sometimes helps.

the last comment is exactly what i was going to say. CP is huge (and one reason why I hope CM's never expands) and character location is controlled so that if a character gets hung up in one area of the restaurant, no other characters can leave their current area, so the planets have to align.

you will probably be warned when being seated that if you miss a character, it could be up to 90 minutes before the character returns.

i would only consider doing this at 8:05 on a non-EMH day, primarily not for the characters, but you'll be able to see them all and quickly if you go that early. either first or last seatings, otherwise you're at the mercy of the occupancy.

it is a large buffet as well.

i don't think you'll get as good interaction as Chef Mickey's gives (CM's is tough to beat in that department). it is typically the only place to find piglet though.

We enjoyed much better then CM. IMO the food was much better!!! Character interaction was great at both places, but food quality CP hands down in my book!!!

We love Crystal Palace too. The food was great and the interaction with the characters was great. My granddaughter could not stop giggling when Tigger rubbed grndpa's bald head to shine it.

We like Crystal Palace. DD and DH more so than me. I prefer Chef Mickey's - I think the food is a little better there. It is louder though. But CP has good food and the Pooh characters are great. We got some great pictures last trip of Tigger playing with DH, messing up his hair, etc.

We love Crystal Palace, and a trip to WDW just wouldn't be the same w/o it! Interaction with characters is incredible,,,,they don't make you feel rushed or anything!

Excellent food and great character interaction. We tend to eat around the 4:45 to 5 ish time there and that seems to be the ideal time...not too busy and fresh hot yummy food!

I absolutely LOVE Crystal Palace. The food is good (I just adore the mashed potatoes) and the interaction is pretty good as well.
