I need to change one ADR and I would like to try someplace we have never eaten. Any reviews of Concourse Steakhouse? We are staying at the Poly, so I thought it might be nice to take the monorail over there and try it out if it's any good. TIA!

We went in July 2005, me, DH, DD-12, DS-10 and loved it. We had shrimp cocktail, french onion soup, and steaks for all. Salad was the only downfall, but really not that bad. Desserts were excellent. Took pictures, but dont know how to upload here, sorry. I would definitely reccomend.

We ate there September 2005 and it was our least favorite meal. My filet was good but Dh didnt like his steak. It had a yucky flavoring to it. I cant even remember what we had for dessert but I know we left it on the table barely touched.

If you think Outback is a really good steakhouse and want something a little below that, Concourse Steakhouse is your place. If you want a good steakhouse, there are much better options on property.

Five of us (all adults) had dinner at Concourse for the first time last November. We had outstanding and friendly service and wonderful food. The wings were so good we ordered more. Fabulous onion rings. My steak was delicious, can't remember what the others had. I had ordered a birthday cake for my best friend, and it was outrageously good. The manager came out to say hello and present a birthday card to my friend.

We would all go back.

We have always had great service and food at the Concourse Steakhouse. In fact, we have ADR's again for 2 weeks from now. Yes, Yachtsman Steakhouse and Shula's are better and have been to both several times - but they're also pricier. The lunches are very good at Concourse also (best burger in WDW, IMHO).

And for what it's worth, I would put the breakfast at Concourse Steakhouse against any restaurant in Disney.

We ate there in Dec 2005 (4 adults, 1 child), and we really enjoyed our meals. Also service was friendly and prompt. We were one of the first tables seated for dinner, as this was a MVMCP evening, and we were headed into the park after dinner.

I had two appetizers for dinner - Pan Seared Scallops & Mozzarella and Tomato Salad, and shared a little of each of the other adult entrees as the portions were very generous for the appetites of our party. Prime Rib, Penne Pasta and Salmon BLT. We also shared creme brulee, key lime pie and cheesecake for dessert. DD had pasta and sauce, smoothie and painters pallet (cookie to paint) for dessert.

I thought the food was very good there. I really enjoyed the filet and the onion rings are spectacular.

As WDW food goes it is some of the best I had while I was on property. We are eating again this year and my DS requested it for his BDAY. BEST service of all the places we ate. :thumbsup2

We have been to the Concourse Steakhouse for our first meal for the past three trips. We have not had one complaint. Our opinion only. We will be back on 6/21/06. Looking forward to it.

I liked it very much. I put it as one of the top meals I have had at Disney. To me it was a more low key place, very relaxing. :thumbsup2

It's a decent meal, and it's not an "event" restaurant. It's nice to have a break from sensory overload once in a WDW trip. :earsboy:

We ate there last year and enjoyed it very much; relaxing and low key, yet not too stuffy for a 7yo. Good service; we will return this Sept.. DD mentioned it in particular... she likes 'grown up food' (steak, salad) on the kids menu and not always burgers, ch fingers, fries, etc. However, the kids dessert, "artist pallete" I think it is called was a BIG hit... (FYI, it is sugar cookies on a pallet with paintbrushes to paint the icing on) (yummy and fun) :thumbsup2
