How is Cat Cora's new restaurant?

Where is this located?

It's in the spot it stole from the sorely missed Spoodles, which was home to among other things the best breakfasts WDW has ever known.

Frankly, I'm glad to see here what are clearly "more-mixed-than-normal" reviews; I'm hoping Disney realizes the error of its ways (i.e., closing unique, distinct eateries and replacing them with faddish celebrity-driven chains is a bad idea).

Our family of 6 ate there last September and it was pretty nasty. The only disappointment in 10 days of dining.

We ate there today, April 6. We felt it was expensive for breakfast. We have a TIW card and with that it was $32. A bagel with cream cheese was $5! The price included a coffee, diet pop, 2 waffles, and the bagel. The food was average breakfast fare. I'm not sure why it seemed more expensive than other WDW breakfast fare but it did.

I think we'll still try breakfast there one morning since we'll be on the deluxe plan - hopefully I'll be able to report something positive back! I'll get lots of pictures as well :)

I've heard some people haven't liked it. My Mom wasn't particually fond of it, but I enjoyed it.

We were trying to save money, so we split items when we ate there. We had the stuffed grape leaf appetizer, which I enjoyed. However, my Mom said she liked the stuffed grape leaves better that are served at our little fast food Greek place in our local mall. I think she's crazy. For an entree we had the lamb burger. I liked it, though after a while I'd had enough (I think it was more that is was lamb and this was the first time I've ever eaten lamb). My Mom didn't like it and said it was way too spicy. Granted it was spicy, but I have a much higher spice tolerance and didn't mind it that much. Service was good.

Excuse me, but Kouzzina is *not* a "celebrity-driven chain."

It is one restaurant whose executive chef happens to be well-known. You know, like bluezoo. Oh, wait, I forgot, bluezoo is actually not Todd English's only restaurant the way Kouzzina is Cat Cora's.

And Spoodles got a ton of bad reviews by the time it closed.

This was not my favorite. We had the saganaki for a starter - which was delicious. For an entree, I had the pastitsio - which I thought was too dry, it definitely needed more sauce. DH had the lamb shanks, which he really enjoyed, very tender and flavorful. He also enjoyed the side of beans. We had the Greek white wine flight, not our first choice - they were sold out of the red wines. The night we went it was very crowded and we waited over an hour even with advance PS. We may eventually go back, but for the prices - I will stick to the more tried and true for a while.
