The search is freezing up my computer so I decided to just post the question. Just wondering how the character breakfast at Cape May is? Good character interaction? The menu looks delicious - usual breakfast fare but seems like there were more foods offered. Thanks for any reviews.

We ate here for the first time in Oct 06 and WE LOVED IT, so much so we are eating there our first morning this December:)

We ate there about 4 years ago. The food was good, but the place was packed - and we were there early December which is a slower time. We waited about 30 minutes past our ADR time and found buffet lines to be chaos with people entering from both ends, which it didn't seem to be set up for. When our DS wanted something else and I didn't want to brave the 15 minute line, the very nice waitress went and got it for us. Character interaction was good.

With that said, we have always had long waits for character breakfasts, so I wouldn't necessarily recommend any other one more so than Cape May.

I have recently reviewed it from our late October visit. Check the review board. Might be of some help.

I love Cape May Cafe the food is good - great variety. The character interaction is really really good. It's a more laid back character meal - they don't rush you out. I go every trip - I was there 10/27 and will be back on 12/8.

I have a favorite server named Dorothy C. she is so good - not pushy and the only buffett waitress I have ever asked me a few times during the meal "do I want clean silverware". I always request her - she is worth the wait.

Have a great trip!!

We had a breakfast at Cape May Cafe on November 2.

The chef created a new process for making scrambled eggs, and everyone is saying the same thing--they're fabulous! Our server told us how they're made, but it's a bit too complex to do at home. Basically it's an egg mixture (including butter flavored canola oil) that's put in a bag and boiled.

This is hands down our favorite breakfast but we like to go right when they open at 7:30 because the place is empty and the food is awesome and you get a ton of character interaction. Last month we went at 10 and the place was a mad house, never did see Chip and Dale and the food was not replenished very quickly.

Great coffee, killer bread pudding and I LOVE the yogurt bar with all the fresh berries and other toppings.

We will go out of our way to eat here.

I've eaten there many times, and I've always enjoyed it. The food is good, and it's not as zooy as some of the other character breakfasts.

We love it. We always go around 9:30 ish. They have a wonderful selection of fruit. The charaters are crazy or I should say "Goofy".

Thanks for all the opinions. Sounds like it its a "must go to." It seems like the earlier the ADR the better so I'll try that. We're not going for over a year so I'll put it on my list. We just got back from Disney last month so now I'm researching some different restaurants. We're thinking of staying on the Epcot side of Disney - YC or BC not sure yet which one would be best for us. Last trip we ate at CM, Kona Cafe, Ohanas,Sci Fi, CP, & CRT. So we have some favorites already on the list (CM & CRT & kona) but I'd like to try some new restaurants. So the search is on. :goodvibes

Thanks again - I appreciate it.

darn - My best kept WDW secret is trickling through my fingertips. :lmao:

We discovered this gem about 3 years ago. We love to go early in the morning and then head out to their beach to just sit and chill. We always see a bride there doing her morning photos. :thumbsup2

Our children are now adults, but my wife and I still love visiting WDW. Each trip we have one character meal that we visit, and we always choose Cape May. The food and the atmosphere are excellent, and you never feel rushed. Have a great time!

Yes, she is shorter with short blonde hair and glasses. She used to be a professional ballet dancer in her younger years, she loves chip & dale. She is just the best - which is why I always request her, she is off on Monday and Tuesdays. I'm requesting her on Dec 8th when I'm there can't wait to see her and I just saw her Oct 27th.

Have a great trip!!!!
