How is AKL?!

The family and I are planning our trip for next year, and we are almost certain that we will be at SSR this trip. But the kids have really expressed a wish to try the AKL. Personally, I love the look of the place. Can anyone offer some opinion on AKL? We are DVC members and I am wondering how they are on a points wise compared to SSR?

I haven't stayed at AKL yet but my brother and his wife won't stay anywhere else. They love AKL and so do my parents.

It's a great place but it can be pricey. You might want to ask about it on the Disney resorts board.

I have stayed there twice. It's one of our favorites. I would highly recommend it. If you jump on over to the Disney Resorts boards you will see a lot of information about AKL, including some great photos.

Beautiful resort...I had stayed there 3 times & then the 3rd time I was bit while in the room asleep by a brown recluse spider.

I could never stay there again...not just because of the spider but because of the events after the bite.
