How irritating!! VENT!

So I get a phone call. Automated voice that then proceeds to put me on hold. SORRY!! If YOU call ME, I expect a person, not music.

Now, if I make a phone call, I'm very patient and have had good luck with being on hold for short amounts of time. That I don't mind, as I initiated the contact.

Yep we used to get them about 3 times a week here at the office.
Pick up the phone say hello and Please stay on the line to receive an important message

After about 2 months and about 30 to 40 calls they have not called back so maybe they took us off the call list.

Forgot the best one yet was a few weeks ago on my cell phone. The call come's in as line 1 hmmmm So I say hello a guys starts to tell me that he is from the bank that I have my visa card with and he needs my SS # & DL # just to make sure his files are up to date. I was like are you crazy LOL and just hung up.

When I get these I hang up. My time is valuable ( Ok not so much sonce i became unemployeed).

I also hate it when you answer the phone only to receive a message asking you to call a phone number they provide. If you need to call me, then I expect you to be ready to speak to me when i answer, not put me ojn hold or have a recording give me a number to call.

My favorite is when people call and say "Who is this?" Hey buddy, you called me, if you don't know who I am, hang up and redial. My number is similar to someone who apparently makes a lot of people very angry. I get her angry callers all the time.
