how i love FP+

just got back from my 3rd trip with FP+ and it works like a charm.
it was absolutely flawless.
i was even able to change a couple of them to earlier times since i was done with other attractions earlier than expected.
its just so convenient.

I said I'd wait until I could get FP+ for the same ride to ride multiple times. Then I realized that might not be til my grandkids have kids... So I'm going to give it a whirl next year.

Aw man, my reading comprehension failed big time for a minute there. I thought that meant you expected your grandkids to have kids next year.

I got it now though. Hopefully by next year they'll have booking 4th+ fp on the phone.

I would love to be able to book in more than one park. I know that they are trying to limit the popular rides but maybe they could somehow be a little more flexible when it comes to the mid-tier rides?

For the OP glad your trip went well. We had our first fast pass plus trip recently and not a fan. We personally won't be back till it gets better. Too expensive of a trip for so much stress.

I hope Disney does not do this at all. I have to admit that I haven't been to U/IoA, so I haven't bought anything to get me through a line faster, but I think it's wonderful that fast passes are FREE if you decide you want to use them. I spend enough money on tickets, etc.

If FP killed your trip due to stress I doubt you'll ever be back. It's not going to get simpler at Disney world. Why not go and see and do all but rides. You will still get the wonder and joy.

We felt the same way last year. A bit worried that there would be problems with it, especially since we had the old FP system mastered, but we came out liking FP+ even better!

Jadyreen I think it can improve when/if there are more attractions to help spread the crowds out.

Until then we will go west to where it all started. Where you can book dinners a few days ahead of time, walk to the parks and for now anyway no fast pass plus

We had no problems with fast pass. Found it easy to book, easy to move around which gave us more flexibility. I give the new system a B+ and the old system a B-

Can raise the grade if tiering goes away and /or you can split your original 3 between two parks.

You can and always have been able to book multiple rides on the same attraction. Use 3, book another.

Absolutely agree with you on this. I am not a fan of the "pay more to skip lines" options. It ruined Cedar Point for me. You pay enough for the tickets themselves. Then they charge more than the price of the ticket to add on the skip the lines option. Not to mention it made the lines, which moved just fine prior to put in the option, turn to molasses.

Disney is the ONLY park that has done it right by making it available to everyone on a base ticket.

I'm waiting for the ultimate fastpass option which I can add to my ticket! Even if it's several hundred dollars per day extra, I'm willing to pay to maximize my experience! I know I'll be flamed, but believe me, it's coming! This ain't your parents' Disney, suckers!

you could pay about $350-$500 per hour per day for a VIP tour guide to get you in the attractions with a minimum to no wait.
