Will be at mickeys house October 8-14th and so excited I can't sleep at night. My question is, how hot will it be?

I know u can't predict the weather but we typically have always be there June and July and once in February...that was sweet. Will we have the same muggy hot weather as July?

Very possible. Figure highs maybe 10 degrees lower than July, so mid-80s or so. Could be more, could be less.

Highs somewhere around 84-88 with lower humidity than July.Could have higher or lower temps but for this time of year somewhere in that range is the norm.I always say that fall starts a day after your trip on Oct 15th,from that point on you have a higher possibility of a cold front coming through and bringing the temps down more significantly, maybe highs in the 70's,but with that said this is Florida so you can't be surprised to see highs near 90 in December either.Basically during your trip be prepared to maybe have warm days but maybe you could bring a light sweater for nighttime.

Thanks. I live in Texas so weather is the same. It could be icing on Halloween or 100. :rotfl2:

It is in the 90s, the humidity is off the charts.
One the bright side very few waits.

We start our WDW vacation this Sunday and I am watching those "humidity off the charts" forecasts with interest and a bit of dread. Oh well...it will all be worth it, right? I've had a couple really hot visits, but we generally do mid-Nov to early Dec, and love the weather at that time of year.

This year, we'd planned our dates around an expected trip to Europe, but opted for WDW instead. DH's job doesn't allow much flexibility in changing vacation dates, so September it is! Now to sell the idea that it's really neat to be able to stand still and sweat, even after the sun goes down. :rotfl:

I've done five October trips, at different times throughout the month. Weather had varied a lot from trip to trip -- and has even varied greatly throughout the same trip!

I've had: fairly cool for October (low 60s) and very windy; pleasantly warm and not too humid; hot and humid; sweltering hot and humid; and "surface of the sun" hot and humid. One trip, in 2009, it started out in the upper 90s and very humid every day 10 days later, it dropped 30 degrees overnight, and became very windy. I had packed mostly sleeveless shirts and shorts, and wasn't prepared for cool and windy! Had to layer the best I could, but it was tough!

And the rain! I've had trips with little to no rain; trips where we had brief afternoon showers; trips with 2 or three hours of rain per day; and one hurricane!

So it's best to prepare for everything, especially clothing-wise. I now bring long pants, warm socks, jacket, a rain poncho, and even gloves for every trip, even at supposedly hot times of the year! And I always bring my Coleman mini-fan, too. It might seem like "over packing" to some people, but it will save you from having to buy expensive WDW clothing!

We went last year 9/30-10/12 and found that the temps were in the high 80's with some decent humidity during the day, but as sun down the temps were quite nice. Shorts and t-shirt weather, but I did pack a sweatshirt for all of us., but we did not end up using them. We did have some rain one night for about 3 hours.

I thought the weather was fantastic in Oct VS July.
