I’m curious what others think about how high our DVC membership fees will go up this coming year due to the rate of inflation and the cost of fuel, higher salaries etc. Everything is going up so it only stands to reason that our membership fees will go up, but I think we may be in for a shock this coming year. Curious what others think and how it might affect your continued membership in DVC.

Is there a legal curve as to how high the increase can be on dvc dues from year to year?

There is a contract limit on everything but property tax. Property tax is always whatever.

Property tax is up to the county the dvc property resides in right?

A good year is a 3% increase. A really bad year is a 10% increase. On a 200 point contract, that's a difference of about $100 between a really good year and a really bad year. If I ever decided to sell DVC, it won't be because of a bad dues increase.

Correct.

Insurance may be outside the increase limit as well.
