Surprise you kids with or at Disney??

My dd knows we are going but she thinks we are staying GV @ the Poly but we are really staying GV concierge. Also she will have autograph book, fat pen, coin book, GOH badges, and a beanie in the room on arrival. I am trying to also surprise her with the princess breakfast in Epcot but so far have had no luck with PS, yet. Oh I almost forgot about the laynards and pins that will also be getting because we did a pkg.

Tell us your surprises you have pulled off or are planning to pull off.... Don't you just love surprises!!;)

When I first planned my Disney trip for December, my 5 y/o grandson asked why I was going to Disney and if he could come with me. DD and her family were planning a ski trip to Salt Lake during that time, so I told him he couldn't come with me because he was going sking, and I was going to Disney because I wanted to see who lived at Disney. A couple of days later when I visited, he came in with a box where he had collected all of his "back pack" Disney character toys, so I "would know who lived at Disney world".

(I now have Tigger, Eeyore, Pooh, Donald & Daisy, Mickey & Minnie, Rafiki, Bluebirds, and Grumpy from Snow White hanging from the lamp beside my computer!) Don't you just love the innocence of children!

Since then, DD and SIL have separated and getting a divorce. Rather than lose her airline tickets, she was able to transfer them to come with me to Disney. Since we have tickets on separate airlines, we're not going to be flying together, but will arrive at Orlande within an hour of each other. My DD isn't going to tell him where they're going, just that they're going on a trip and it's a surprise. They will arrive first, then wait for me to arrive. She's not going to tell him that I'm meeting them. I'm going to arrive with a goodie basket with Disney stuff (I've found "Finding Nemo" swimming trunks, Buzz Lightyear PJ's, coloring, story and activity books, etc.) I'm going to pick up an autograph book, big pen, and GOH badges before we get there and we'll probably stop at the Disney store so he can "get in the mood" before we head to the resort.

That is great I am sure he is going to be one Happy kid!!;)

Well... not necessarily kids but DH and I are going to Disney with my parents, 2 sisters, brother and hopefully brother-in-law in December. My sister will be celebrating a birthday while we are there and my parents are celebrating their 20th wedding anniversary the month before. I am hopefully, $$$ permitting, going to rent the Grand One Yacht for the fireworks and have dinner served on board. They will think we will just be going on the regular pontoon boat ride. If that doesn't work out, I will have gift baskets when they arrive.... oh.... and the new Pal Mickey!!!

Well, we've never surprised Ashli at or with Disney...hummm...I guess that just means she'll have to surprise US with Disney! LOL
Does it work that way??

My daughter and I have trip planned in December. We will be down there a couple of weeks before her 25th birthday. I am hoping to be able to pay for the entire trip as her birthday present. I am planning on telling her to give me her 1/2 of the money. Then on the day before we leave, I am going to give it back to her and tell her HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
