How has the Little Mermaid line been lately?

From what I've been reading, I have the sense that Toy Story is still a crazy madhouse at park opening, but Little Mermaid actually has quite short wait times at various times of the day. How bad is it between 10 AM and 11 AM these days for Little Mermaid? Is the wait reasonable (20 minutes or less by my definition of reasonable) or does it have an early surge too and I would do better to look for a different time of day to ride?

We rode yesterday at 10:00 or so and it was a very quick 20 minutes- probably quicker than twenty, but that was what was posted. Have fun!

I went there 4th of July weekend (on the Saturday) and it was a walk on at 12 noon and 1 pm.

Mid-week last week it was at 10 to 20 minutes whenever we went by.

It was never more than 30 all weekend for us, also great time to go was right before rope drop, we walked in each morning we started in DCA and rode several times prior to running to Goofys or Screaming.

So what is the consensus on this new ride? Is it really wonderful or just eh? The models of it at the Blue Sky Cellar made it look like it was pretty short in duration. Is it something you want to ride again and again?? I have heard so little about how people like this new attraction.

Consensus is that LMAUA is nothing spectacular. A solid ride with good music and good visuals. About six minutes long. Something we rode twice and that was about right. People like LMAUA but are not drop dead amazed.

We just got back. We stayed at the DLH and did The Little Mermaid before park opening. We walked on twice. It is a nice ride.

We then got in line at the rope and went on Toy Story. What a made house.

When we pass the Little Mermaid again about an hour later the line was outside of the building but did not seem too long.

We really liked the ride but it seems a little short to us. Definitely well done. I think the size of the building limited the ride length.

Looking at the videos of it, it looks like a typical Fantasyland Dark Ride, albeit with better animatronics.

So anyone that likes the dark rides in Fantasyland should like it.

Last Friday we waited about 5mins at about 3pm. Short but cute. Like the above posters said, typical FL ride. Thought it ended kind of strange - went from the boat scene with Eric and Ariel to the next scene being the end when they were married. IMO I thought the story could have been completed better...Even my DH - who isn't a fan of FL type rides - said at the end scene "thats it? Hmm, that was a weird ending..." And just a note, Ariel isn't as strange looking on the ride as some of the pics make her out to be!! ;)

Actually it was better than the older fantasyland rides - longer and more immersive. Was it "drop dead awesome"? No but was it very very good? Yes. I appreciated the fact that they got in 4 songs from the movie- so actually it was more inclusive IMO than the FL rides. Yes it ended fast- but so have all FL rides. I thought the "under the sea" room was just fantastic.
