We called at 90 days out for our trip in June, but not at 7am, I think it was mid-afternoon. We had no problem getting the package. I don't think the FDP ever requires a 7am call, but I would call on sometime on the 90-day mark day because I've read several posts from people who couldn't get the package during busy times.
Another heads-up on the FDP. If things hold true to how the FDP has been working for the past year or so, you'll probably have very limited times to pick from when you first call. Usually you're given a choice of eating at 4pm or 415pm, maybe 430. Then, between a month and 2 weeks before the date of your PS, later times will open up, so you'll have to call back if you want to eat a little later. It's a pain, and I don't know why they're doing this, but we went ahead and booked the 415 dinner and then called back to get a reasonable 630 dinner a few weeks before our trip. This seems to be what many people are doing, and although it requires 2 calls (or more) you have the assurance that you have the package initially then later can try for a better time. Also, if you watch these boards when you're within a month of your trip, someone usually posts that later FDP times have opened up so that you don't have to keep calling to check.
