How hard is it to get Navi for a 4th FP?

I have the tickets already bought for September so I can book fastpasses for the next 30 days (Disney just sees valid tickets in my account not linked to a hotel stay in the next 60 days, so it lets me book fastpasses within the next 30 days. They don’t know when my trip is, they just see valid tickets.). I go on and try to book fp on the two tickets, then when I’m done I just cancel the tickets.

Definitely one of the more difficult but not impossible. But will likely take some period of refreshing.

Yes. Not that they are manipulating it so that certain people don't get rides but so that certain people have better experiences with it (with other things like party size and crowd level being equal). I have no proof of that of course. But based on what I have read here, the experiences I had in the parks, info from a software engineer coworker, and common sense i believe that is the case. If you understand how to use the tool, how to refresh, are persistently refreshing for solid blocks of time, and still can't get headliners it may well not be anything you are doing wrong but that you are not in Disney's target FP demographics. And since no one knows exactly what those are, there's probably not much you can do to change it. I'm sorry you had such a frustrating experience with it. My experience is middle of the road. Not as great as some, not as bad as others so I consider myself lucky.

I didn't know that FP had a demographic....that is very interesting, but also upsetting! We all pay for our tickets and should all have access to the FP system equally.

I believe they mean more along the lines that maybe there are blocks of 2 let’s say, but they won’t let you take for 4 people.

At least that’s how I took it.

Sounds sensible. We mostly prebooked fast passes for kiddy rides like dumbo because we were travelling with a toddler. I suspect, but have no proof, that that reduced our chances of seeing headliners later in the day. Essentially I think my profile says “not interested in fast rides”, which isn’t true. I just wanted to be sure that the small person got on his favourites before then doing mine. Alas this strategy did not work...

My sister seems to have the exact opposite experience when she goes. Brilliant choice of headline fast passes all day long. She is a fast pass pro! She does not have small children in her travel party and only pre-books fastpasses for hard to get attractions and rollercoasters. Her profile must be the exact opposite of mine!

it's just a theory. I see so many people having success with it, I'm not sure it's the case.

I know this isn't what you asked, but if you rope drop Navi, it is pretty much a walk on because most RD FOP.

Ah, I see. Thanks.

We found Navi as a 4th (or later) FP+ for a party of 2 available many times in early May.
