How hard is it to book BW Studio in May @ 7month window?

I like to plan ahead and I'm starting to plan our big family trip for May (ok this is a few years down the road!). But I want to know how hard is it to book BW or BC at the 7month window for May (early part of the month). Our Home resort is SSR, which would be fine for us too. I just thought family would like to be walking distance to Epcot.

Unless you want a BW view studio (or standard view), you'll probably be OK. But I was pretty surprised when I called today for late April, exactly 7 months, and had to go on the waiting list for a BW view studio. It's for DS's first wedding anniversary so I'm really hoping the waitlist comes thru.

We were pleasantly surprised to get a standard BWV studio for 4/21 - 4/25.

We've booked BWV for our Star Wars weekend trip in May for the past several years (didn't have Boardwalk points until last week), and I've never had a problem getting a preferred view studio at 7 months. Standard or Boardwalk views have been hit or miss.

I usually book BWV SV or Boardwalk view studios, for our trip to Epcot's Flower show and then at 7 months I like to switch to BCV. So, we do that, and I'm sure others are switching out too, so there should be some movement there.

Yup, I think that's what just happened to us (Thanks, someone). I've been doing day by day ressies at 7 months for a BWV studio. The first couple days I had to go on a waitlist. Then, today, the last day of the week 7 months out, all week came thru. So I'm so excited that DS and his wife are all set to spend their first anniversary in a BW view studio. I haven't called him yet, he can't possibly get as excited as I am!

I know you said BWV or BCV...last week I completed a 1BR BCV reservation for April 15 - 21st. I was worried I wouldn't get it but relieved that I actually did!
