How hard is it to book a split stay with a bounce back offer?

I am contemplating a sort of complicated modification to my bounceback reservation. I currently have a 5 night stay at the Poly. I am interested in changing it to 2 nights at the Poly with the bounceback discount, and changing the last 3 nights to AKL with the summer RO discount. I would want to book the AKL portion with dining plan and tickets, but would need to start using those tickets in the first part of my stay, obviously. Part of me thinks this is too complicated, and I should just stick with the existing reservation. However, my DH is not with us the last 3 nights, giving us the rare opportunity to book a 4 person room in a resort my kids want to try. The DDP is a value for the 2nd portion of the trip for us, but would not be worth it for me to book with the 5 night at Poly plan. Has anyone had success with a similarly complicated split stay? ( I am used to split stays, just not with a bounceback!)

The issue with booking your tickets with the AKL the last 3 nights is you could not make advanced FP+ at 60 days. You would have to activate the tickets on arrival before making any FP+.

You'd be better off separating off the tickets and making the second part a ticketless package, and getting the tickets with the first stay.
