How hard is HHI to book?

I'm considering a late May trip to the HHI resort. I realize at this point in time, the only DVC property available at Disney is probably SSR. I'm not too familiar with how fast HHI and VB fill up. Any hope? I don't know my dates, so I can't really call and check on availablity.

I don't know how fast HH fills up either but I can tell you that I booked a 1 bedroom 7 months out for may 3-9 for this year! Good luck!!

we just recently (as in 2 weeks ago) booked TWO two bedroom villas for May 11-16 of this year. at the time the rep told DH that she had 38 2BR villas still avialable for that week. I think the issue with HHI is that it is MOSTLY 2BR villas (they had zero 1BR or studios available). if you want something smaller you may be out of luck.

I'm no expert, but I called in Jan at the 7 month mark from our check out date and had to change my dates because they did not have a full week those dates this August. I was able to get ressies for the following week. The CM said HHI books up fast in the summer. Good luck

I just don't know. May is probably in high demand at both HHI and VB. This really the beginning of peak season for HHI and nearing the end of peak for VB. I think you might have better luck with VB. Talk to the CMs and ask them what they see.... They will help you figure it out.

Bummer, those were the dates I was looking at. No way can I afford a 2 bd. Fingers crossed a 1 bd is available another week.
