How good is WDW resort shampoo+conditioner?

I usually take my own shampoo and conditioner, but I find Florida water makes my hair go funny. Where I live has hard water so that might be something to do with it.

It isn't the shampoo/conditioner that dries our hair. We have four daughters with long hair, two curly, and the water is horrible for their hair. Braids and ponytails are our families best friend while in Florida.

Us too. We have always have to wear braids or buns on every Disney trip. Even using our own products, there’s no way we can style our hair and wear it down the way we do at home.

Im glad its not just our family!! Our girls hair(mine too) has never looked good while in Disney. I don't know what I'd do if we lived in Florida.

The shampoo made my hair stiff and I did not like it. I love the conditioner but forget the shampoo.

I am IN LOVE with the scent of their shampoo. I use it as body wash as well because it’s mesmerizing.

My hair hates it! I used it for the first time in January, when we went to WDW. I did not take any of my own products and regretted it. We are headed to DL in July and I will be packing my own products with me.

I like Disney H2O products very much. (I have uncurly no-body hair. I always put gel for body on my hair after washing it no matter what shampoo I use.)

Though I miss the scent, and always will, of Disney's old-version little bottles of Grapefruit & Bergamot and definitely don't love H2O's scent, I do like the products very much as they seem of good quality.

I actually look forward to our split stays (one time did a 5-way) and got all the little tubes to bring home. Pre-check TSA at MCO was laughing when he saw the bagful in my tote.

Yep... the scent says Disney resort to me :)

Each passenger may carry liquids, gels and aerosols in travel-size containers that are 3.4 ounces or100 milliliters. Each passenger is limited to one quart-size bag of liquids, gels and aerosols. Common travel items that must comply with the 3-1-1 liquids rule include toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, mouthwash and lotion.

I think if you have TSA PRE you don't even have to take the bag out of your carry-on.

My wife is very picky with her hair products and where ever we travel she has to bring her own except for when we go to a disney property she loves their shampoo and conditioner and does not need to bring her own. We just returned from DVB resort and VGF 2 yesterday and she makes sure she brings whatever is left of the shampoo home with her.

I keep it somewhere easily accessible just in case, but haven’t had to take the bag of liquids out of my carryon for the last two years (regular security line). Most times there has been a TSA person repeating “you do NOT need to remove anything from your bag except electronics” because people kept automatically opening their bag to remove their liquids.

For everyone saying it dries out hair, have you tried a different shampoo at WDW with better results? I have curly hair and have used H2O both at Disney and at home. At home my hair is fine, at Disney it is straw. I think the water and florida weather are more to blame than shampoo.

Braids at Disney is what I always do to combat frizz.

When I bring the leftover H2O shampoo home and use it, it’s great. When I’m in Florida, it doesn’t matter what I use — the water makes my hair so dry. I don’t bother packing my own shampoo and conditioner anymore, because nothing helps. I bring a heavy duty leave in conditioner, though!
