How good is Red Lobster.

Is it worth eating at one ? My daughter insists we go, even though she's never been there, and doens't like lobster. Not that she's ever had any ! I guess that's 7 year olds for you.

I used to use them a lot, the last couple of visits weren't up to previous visits ( could just have been a bad day or one restaurant not up to scratch) so I haven't been recently. I'll probably give them another go soon , I think sometimes one needs a break from "favourites" as you get stale repeating the same experiences. I'd certainly say they are worth a visit. Obviously the majority ofthe menu is fish based, but they do other things as well. The kids always used to like the "popcorn"shrimp (breaded small shrimps) but they have stuff like Mac'n'cheese on the kiddies menu as well.

We like Red Lobster very much. Great sea food.

We use the one in Lakeland a lot just outside the Lakeland Square Mall, but the new one on 192 at the Formosa Gardens dragon is very good, too. They are all even better now they are all non smoking. They used to be rather smokey around the central bar area.

There is a kids menu with Pizza, chicken nuggets and all the usual. My youngest son nearly had a fit when he thought he only had fishy food to eat but he had his usual burger, in the end. I have shrimp. The wife has salmon, usually. Although she had lobster last time.

If you're like us you will pig out on the cheese biscuits (they're like warm cheese scones) while you wait for your main meal. They are absolutely beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Red Lobster restaurants are great family eateries. Nicely themed, reasonable price for seafood . There is more shrimp on the menu than lobster nowadays but still a family favourite. No trip to Florida is complete for our family unless we have been to at least one Red Lobster.
The main course comes with a salad and those great cheese rolls.
We avoid ordering a starter or you get too full. If still hungry after main course then desserts are great.
My favourite is the all you can eat shrimp platter especially shrimp in garlic butter and the popcorn shrimp.

I did not enjoy Red lobster, it may have been an off night but the food was bland and the service not good, pricey too for what it was.
